Bill the Cat

One May afternoon many years ago Ed was sitting at the computer working on stage plots and rental equipment requirements for the upcoming Alabama June Jam when he heard a very loud commotion outside under the "office" window. Expecting to find one of our adult cats tangling with some unknown varmit he was surprised to find a small gray kitty with a pink collar making his displeasure at being unattended known in a hig volume manner. Thus began the wonderful amusing era of Bill, a cat of larger than normal dimensions and personality that charmed (or terrified) all who met him. It ended this week (July 29,2006) with his untimely death and it is a great loss to us. No longer will we come up the drive and find our gray buddy guarding the house from the top of the steps, demanding immediate attention or growling his displeasure at the current condition of the food bowls while ruling the homestead.

Rest in Peace, dear Bill (aka Mr. Bill)
