After
Squeaky's untimely demise we began searcing the internet for older dogs at rescue
operations.
Our fostering of Squee taught us that older canines can be aclimated very well
into a new houshold and that they
can learn commands and concepts easily. Plus, we were really looking for a companion
to keep Remington occupied as he
really requires more than cursory daily input. The vet's office called us, seems
there was an abandoned, lost or otherwise drifitng
Pyrenees that had been taken in by a couple a few miles away. They had no intention
of keeping her but they were doing a
spectacular job caring for her including a full array of veterinary innoculations,
grooming and even boarding. So, upon the vet's
recommendation the folks agreed to allow us to try and see if there was compatibility
and sure enough there is.
Beatrice (She Who Had No Name) came to her new home Tuesday
and extreme romping ensued:

Followed by a nice round of puppy-pass-out, followed by more canine WWF

She's a very handsome girl
And she's made herself quite at home, thank you.
